Tips from the Pros Rebel Crawfish The Rebel Crawfish comes in sizes that cover depths down to 10 feet. The best place to fish the Rebel Crawfish is around rocks. On the rocks, or in the rocks, make sure the Rebel Crawfish is bouncing and deflecting for viscous strikes. A crawfish is on the top of the menu for a hungry bass. Pay close attention to the color of the water you're fishing when selecting a Rebel Crawfish color to fish with. If the color of the water is clean to clear try the most natural colors (Ditch, Moss, or stream colors). The florescent colors are top choices for muddy conditions (Devil Red, Fire Tiger, Nest Robber). Always keep in mind that there are dozens of species of crawfish in North America. They will all go through natural color changes. Be sure and mix up your color selections. Remember that a crawfish is a bass favorite. A fishing trip with a Rebel Crawfish is a great bet for a fabulous experience. Mark Menendez, of Paducah, KY, is a Bassmaster Tour winner and three-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier.
